It's probably been said, but you all think they are really going to release it on 12/21/2012? In the grand scheme of conspiracies, occult references, scientific mumbo-jumbo...wouldn't that be kind of, like, way to obvious of an idea and totally lame? I don't find TCH to be that half-assed. It had a lot more of a live instrument feel to it, and it was definitely more "one-note", as far as moods go, but you know, a MHTRTC-type release would really shake things up, in a good way. I'm happy knowing that the new album will probably be released this year. It just feels about right. On top of that, the new Tool album is expected this year, as well. So that would make 2011 the year of new Radiohead, BoC and Tool, at the very least. So actually, not a bad year, at all.

I would say that the dissonance and eeriness of songs like Sunshine Recorder and Devil in the Details can drive someone up the wall.
