My replacement Campfire records arrived today. Disappointingly they appear to have been pressed on lower weight vinyl. Haven't had chance to give them a listen yet.

i've listen to the geogaddi reissue and there is definitely problems on a few tracks, mostly notably "corsair." there is quite loud distortion that ebbs in and out in sync with the track itself, and if you listen to the original 2002 vinyl (or cd for that matter,) that distortion is not there. it ...
