It almost seems like he has sidelined himself intentionally as a component of this game. Years of work defusing trolls and now the boys seem to be cutting out the middle man and doing it to us themselves without having him as a mouthpiece to comment on the proceedings.

definitely beginning to grow on me this tune

maybe I struggled with the juxtaposition of the first and second halves, first the deep almost classic Boards synths (which immediately made my eyes and ears light up) and then suddenly stitched into the throwaway indie pop vocals which I wasn't so keen ...

I remember reading the gaps between albums would be shorter but only from (maybe?) moderators here and most probably Joyrex on watmm. Dunno could be wrong.

People are having so much fun with RDJ's new webstore, I am insanely jealous as a BoC fan. I hope they go a similar route someday.

I think what makes that new webstore special is that RDJ is also having fun with it, you can see the little notes he's written on some of the releases and the jokes ...
