I am pretty much about to get a couple of Samson C02 condenser mics. Not sure if anyone here has used them but they seem to fit my budget right now (around £75)

Oh & I just plug it straight into my old multitrack cassette recorder.

I actually used to have a condensor mic awhile back but it wasn't that great - a rushed purchase & I can't even find it now!

Cheers for the reply though, I'll look into some of those asap.

I want to record some acoustic based stuff but need a mic to do it with.

Any suggestions? I haven't got the biggest budget in the world but as long as it does the job fairly well then I'm happy.

Sit there & nod your head whilst pretending to tweak knobs right? It's possible but I would just use my own recording software with all my tracks on copied for a live situation.

I assume you have all your stuff on a portable machine? Just rig it up through a mixer then into the PA I'd imagine.

Although, I'm no expert, just going on what I've seen myself.

Just sit there with your laptop, tinkering away with various automation parts! Whilst some cool visuals draw the attention away from yourself ...

Anyway, I've always had an un-easy feel about this track but at the same time theres something positive in there...just can't work out what it is.
