I would think more likely life changes combined with medium changes gave us this album.

Also just to clarify, moving from one system to another can not only change the sound sonically but the use.

Workflow on a hardware based sequencer is very different to working on a DAW and will yield different results.

I guess they grew up, they started using DAW's. They had children (a bit of light in your life can completely change your artistic outlook). Maybe they stopped drinking/taking drugs. You gotta think they are late 30's heading for 40 now. Life changes, people change.

Guys, you are comparing music from 1986-2000 (boc maxima/hi scores/twoism/mhtrtc/abpoitc) to music made 2002-2005 (post Geogaddi)

That's a HUGE timespan covering time when they were growing up and possibly living together/sharing studio and no doubt 100% hardware to time when they were probably ...

Which kind of supports the rumour that the album was delayed by them having children or whatever. If he is in contact with the band then he would have known about it then and would be up to date now...

I have no desire to troll anyone, just excited by what I heard on UK national radio this morning!

Well, it was not an official announcement, he just mentioned during his first show on the station this morning and then played a song.

I know there will be a load more posts refuting this but personally I am very happy he said this because he is a genuine fan and BBC being what it is I am sure he ...

There is no way of confirming this without input from the band/Warp themselves but he is a friend of the band and a huge fan.
