Dipping in and out of listening to BBC Radio 6 today; AIUI the typical BOC track choices there are usually Roygbiv, Dayvan Cowboy or IABPOITC (and I think, RFTD occasionally) -- so it was cool to instead hear Pete Standing Alone play this morning...

Quite interesting... Re: one lyric apparently translating as "May the name of the Lord be upon you" - BOC are certainly no strangers to using samples with religious connotations. Perhaps it's on to something.

Yeah, part of the drums; the hi-hats in in particular. On Sick Times, they first kick-in at 1:30; On SYI, they fade in with the other percussion.

I think you're right... I've always understood the sample source for that chopped ...

Only watched and listened via the iPlayer, and yet, what a great sense of atmosphere... Just outstanding.

Cheers; haven't seen Maxima listed on rareboc per se, so wasn't sure whether it was suitable... Had I known, I'd have asked sooner about making it available.

Really good stuff... The overall standard is so high that I almost feel it would be wrong to mention any favourite tracks from first listen... I'll refrain from that just now.

One thing I will say: the Scyye and Bearhead tracks in their similar aspects make for an excellent segue
