i LOVE the bass line to Kaini Industries, never sat down to work it out and play it myself

Had another go at this. I'm terrible at driving Massive so there's a lot wrong, the attack on the notes is all wrong for one. But the sound's getting there I think

Well, I get the same notes. Though I'd put it like this:

B1 D2 A#1 G1 E2

A# just because midi notes don't do flats.

Copying a synth sound is the devil's own work. All I can suggest ( not knowing Logic) is to use a 3 osc analogue virtual mono synth, find a preset near and tweak from there ...

Wow. Does not sound anything like it. Anybody else use logic? Any recommendations for instruments/presets?

It also seems like there are 17 notes in the bassline, right before it repeats with the snares coming in.

HELP with Chinook bass/melody

So, I decided to make a remix of Chinook, and it's been pretty difficult so far. I'm using Logic. I pretty much have the intro percussion down. You know that, boom-tap-boom-tap-boom. I also reversed and stretched the snare, to make that snapping noise. Well... uh... that's pretty much all I have so ...
