I should note that I lingered after the playback and listened to a conversation between a Warp rep and a couple of writers from prominent pubs that the message from the brothers was zero interviews this time round (though the rep noted they had said the same last time so who knows)

I think it's now safe to say that through a strange set of circumstances I got to hear this album all the way back in April.

To keep it general, I work for an events space in a coastal city. Warp have hired us in the past for album playbacks for Music Press in the past, so when they reached out to ...

For reasons I do have the original video file for the listening party visuals - will upload somewhere later down the line if they don't show up before then!

Cannot wait for everyone to hear Naraka, so much fun!

yeah, they're just a band! The world's ending for all of us, I doubt they're so preoccupied by it that they've put all the synths on gumtree and curled up in the fetal position. There'll be an album eventually, I'm happy to wait.

Don't know if this has been posted elsewhere but Mark Pritchard's new one is coming and the first single is verry boc-y.

I never made that connection! I always assumed it was a play on 'Send in the Clowns', seeing as they sort of share a melody.

You'd sort of think that if they were ever to start gigging again they'd start off closer to home? Just for like, logistic reasons.

I mean I don't think it's entirely unlikely this is true, we'll see. Surprised it's a festival show, and not something where they can be elaborate. At least from past comments their conception of a live show seems pretty elaborate - it'd be weird for them to return in a limited capacity.

Just awful. Feels like he had so much more to give.

Huge Bjork fan, so I'll always associate him with that, but this news has made me delve a little deeper into his solo stuff for the first time in a while. Thought this beauty might appeal to BOC-fans especially.
