found out about this dude a few months ago and my mind was blown. the guy's production work is INSANE. highly recommend checking him out. some prominent BoC influence in a few of his tracks too.

shame they broke up.

i guess three or four of the members of isis formed a new band with chino from deftones called 'palms'.

i heard of sample of the record though and wasn't really feelin it.

odd future. they are awful. their whole 'shock value' gimmick is annoying and not funny.

also, their tv show is like a bunch of 16 year old kids ripping off tim and eric and failing miserably.

can't get into mumford and sons either.

i'd like to ask any fellow twoism music makers for some advice on problems i've been having for the past several years when it comes to making music.

overall the album is spectacular. i just wish it didn't sound so 'clean'

overall the album definitely exceeded my expectations. i thought i was probably going to be disappointed, but i wasn't. it's a great album. the high points are right up there with the other records. 'nothing is real' is in my top 5 BOC songs.

i'd say it sounds like geogaddi pt. 2 with TCH ...

the biggest complaint i have about the album is that it almost sounds too good.

one thing i always liked about BoC was the way they used older gear to achieve their sound.

this album sounds like it was made almost entirely on a DAW like protools or logic or something.

that's probably why to some ...

reach for the dead and jacquard causeway are the only one's on this album that are skippable IMO. similar to rue the whirl.

reach for the dead just doesn't sound like BOC at all and jacquard causeway sounds like a BOC imitator.

everything after jacquard is heavenly.

this record is like geogaddi 2.0 with the production quality of the campfire headphase
