An artist I've been aware of, as in known the name, for ages but never dug into - but this is brilliant. It sounds like My Bloody Valentine!

I think that's exactly it. I really like it, but it does sound like they've set out to make a tune that sounds like Boards of Canada.

I do quite like it when artists do that - being quite self-referential to their other work by reusing something - a lyric, a bass line ...

Once flew to Milan to watch Newcastle play Inter in the Champions League (2003. Shearer scored twice as we 'won' 2-2). On both flights, the drinks trolley didn't even make halfway down the aisle before it sold out of beer. There was nearly a riot on the plane. Good times.

Good to see December 2012 me was on the baby food & fajitas.

Made a cracking steak tonight with sweet potato fries, garlic butter, grilled tomatoes and onions cooked down for about an hour.

(Serve with 3x Furstenburg lagers)
