I couldn't find any reference around here to this track by Art Zoyd from 1985, Sortie 134 (Part 2), so apologies if this has come up before.
The laughing was possibly some influence on BOC though. Not sure if it was sampled too, but the way it's used is very similar to ...

I wonder if that Aquarius mash-up is where it first began. The Grace Jones sample, then they built it from there.
dunno about that, because it had the "i'm listening" sample which - unless i'm wrong here, which is possible - was only in later versions of the track, and not early ones.

As Mexi got it from whatisname, it was just like a Red Moon Party tape.

Definitely some original stuff in there, but basically Hell Interface, or whatever you want to call it, manipulation of records. I could be wrong, but nothing made me think it was 100% an old ...
