The first thing I would suggest is to obtain a good understanding of MIDI. If you're going to have a lot of different machines in the studio, it can be pretty important to know how to connect and sync them all up to one another.

Cold Earth sounds pretty organic to me. I don't think it contains any samples beyond the voice snippets

Since the brothers seem to prefer to do their interviews through email, I don't see why there would be an issue with 'publishing' or whatever. We could complile a list of our best questions and then submit them to mdg or other Hexagon Sun official. Everyone in the BoC camp should be well-aware of ...

Weird indeed. My thought would be that perhaps nobody with an American/non-Japanese TH CD has entered & uploaded the data to whatever system Sony uses, and it defaulted to using the Japanese track data since it was the closest match But all the track titles and other album details are in English ...

Even when you dither down from 96kHz, 24-bit or 48kHz, 24-bit to 44.1kHz, 16-bit there is a noticable loss of depth in the low-end, particularly in the 30 - 85Hz range.

The whole recording world understands that recording at higher sampling rates will give you greater dynamic range, and that the preferred option of mixing down from 24-bit to 16-bit (cd quality) is to use dither rather than simply cutting off those remaining 8-bits and throwing them away - "To hell ...
