So..

Having sat on my BoC vinyl for 8-10 years.. I finally got a record player hooked up in our upstairs room that has speakers set up for surround sound.

It took a long time..

But the sound, the weight, the artwork, the music - it all hit home again after not listening for the last few years ...

I bought a CS-70 about 10 years ago and the guy ran off with all my money. Thanks for the reminder!

I've been listening to Black Rain's album, "Dark Pool" a lot recently. It gives me a dark, future-ish, dystopian / Bladerunner vibe.

And I love Netrunner too!

I got a chance to see it in a 70mm/Cinerama/Whatever print about 20 years ago at the Uptown in Washington, D.C. (same theater where it had its world premiere in 1968) with the original Overture (which I hadn't and haven't seen anywhere else).

Wow. I had no idea there were all these issues with the vinyl. That means I have to open them all and check them out? Ugh. I had bought them to hold on to them for a long while to give my oldest boy a new record collection when he's older. What the hell!
