yeah I ordered the LPs out of the gate. I had issues with campfire (I bought 3 copies) the last one was decent. geogaddi definitely had those static problems. MHTRTC was flawless as said above. just wanted to wait it out before buying the EPs and replacing geogaddi and campfire.

i haven't been here in a bit. just wondering, have the reissue issues been worked out? or are they still shipping out busted up copies? trying to buy the eps and a geogaddi.

yeah, I think the riff in the video, just sounded a lot like a BOC riff, it just psyched me out. I guess that is what those guys do best, touch on your nostalgia.

yeah, I listened to all of the LPs tonight. I think I might be imagining I heard it in a BOC song. eh...disappointed not to find it.

yeah, this isn't just static, it's a giant scratch that goes through 2 songs. it's similar to what other people have been posting pictures of in other posts (particularly the "order up" post)

CAMPFIRE SIDE C- just checked it out,i have the static and the scratches on the vinyl, some people posted pictures of. GEOGADDI and MHTRTC are ok though. i have these weird lines on GEOGADDI "///////"
but they aren't effecting sound.

I really love the mhtrc sound, aquarius blew me away with new details, devil in the details, you could feel the sky, music is math also sound amazing! what's funny is, (having never heard the vinyl) i was expecting GEOGADDI to be the best listen.......... (not that it wasn't amazing) but MHTRTC really blew me away the most, first listen through all of the reissues.

that all makes sense. still a tiny bit strange that they would only re-cut GEOGADDI? (unless the original metal work was lost or stolen) i mean, one could argue that MHTRTC is almost as good an album as GEOGADDI, that metal is a lot older too(if they are actually using the original metal plates ...

just wondering what the difference is, i have a little bit better than basic knowledge, just trying to get a grip on this.
