Are there transcriptions into musical notation of either song? Sites that offer them or other resources to look at? I suspect that I hear something that I'm not describing very well and looking at the sheet music may help me to clarify my point.

Overall, I do not think the tracks sound a lot alike ...

I think what I'm hearing is the intervals and lengths of the first few notes of each song. Bear with me here, but it sounds like there is an initial note followed by a longer note a step lower, then a note of similar length to the first a half step above it. Or some kind of intervals like that. Does ...

Anyone ever give them a listen back-to-back and notice some similarities, particularly the chords and their lengths in the intro? I haven't been able to find good transcriptions of either to compare on paper.

Do you hear anything?
