Perhaps someone could point me to a place where I can buy a high quality (lossless) version of The Selfkicker by Jasper van't Hof? I see that is hasn't been released on CD, only on vinyl.

WYLTBF MIGHT just be B09 but I'm struggling to think how it would connect to the excerpt we've heard. It might be something else entirely.

I actually think BoC don't care about the impressions of the fanbase in the slightest. Making up the whole back catalog just for the sake of trolling the fans and going as far as recording fake snippets to make it more credible seems totally unlike them. I think the early albums are real.

I think mdg said that the recording used in Gyroscope does not come from the Conet Project, but was rather recorded by Sean Booth.

Well, there is not only one way to do documentaries. I agree that a regular band documentary type wouldn't work here, but why not something else.

I think WARP just wanted to release the Peel session box set and they thought it would be nice to resolve this sample clearance issue when there's a chance. Or perhaps they resolved it already some time ago. I don't think that BoC had really much to say in the matter (perhaps they refused to release ...

I always thought it was a reference to the NBC logo, I don't really know why.

I still think it's possible that they release, or rather announce the new album just like that, without any ARGs, games, riddles, etc. That what they did with all the releases except TH, after all.

9/10, one of the best endings of a BoC album/compilation, even though I'm not so crazy about Old Tunes No. 2. Thanks for reminding me of it.

I was probably browsing some articles regarding a Polish hauntological series Kraina Grzybów when Boards of Canada came up as another example of hauntological aesthetic. I didn't like all of it at first, but it grew on me and about four months later I bought all the releases.

It was. A similar thing reportedly happened to a Bibio track called 9:13 which was changed to 1899-12-30.

If ATP7 is Noatak (even though we decided that the vocodered voice doesn't say noatak) then it could be. Hooper Bay is supposed to be the first "mature" BoC album. If our hypotheses are true, it's interesting that they decided to perform some tracks from one of the early releases.
