I realise this video is historic now, with the recent listening parties, and the imminent release. But a weird little thing for you all. Watch the video for this one in black and white. Reveals a lot more from the visuals.

Just thinking about the video now. Solid work. Very reminiscent of late 70s/early 80s World in Action titles, or 70s nature documentaries. There is a lot going on, but the full audio/visual stack are doing good things.

Fuuuuu. Sounds like the Cure meets the Cocteau Twins meets Kraftwerk. I had no idea what I was expecting, but not this, and yet, it delivered. I have no words to express how much that hit hard. What a great entrance, and a great counter stance to Tape 05 (which I also loved).

That music was magnificent, and the video work exceptional. What a gift.

On the bottom right of the new website photo, are those trees, or like a group of people walking?

One observation. In a world of digital media, and social media, they are using VHS tapes, delivered by mail, and posters on walls, to broadcast a return. That is interesting, in its purely analogue approach. And probably more of a wholesome observation, than going down a "beautiful mind" rabbit hole ...

I gave up reading tea leaves ages ago. Any new release will happen whenever its ready, and it will most probably be delivered without mind games and ARGs. At least, that is my hope. The internet can get tiresome in that respect.

Frankly, looking at the comments, im not surprised everyone sees similarities in moments of BoC, Autechre and Aphex. They are all Gen Xrs that lived through the late 70s and 80s, prog rock, new wave, birth of electronica, hiphop, house, DnB, acid house, rave, shoegaze, sampling, etc ...
