It was supposed to be a joke. It wasn't Biz's fault that a few people lost their cool. besides, (not trying to be too much of a dick) that sort of naivety is prevalent in the community and nobody seems to be acknowledging it, so it was important that Biz and Demo brought it up in the hooper bay ...

I liked the music, especially side B. Kudos to those responsible for admitting their involvement when it turned out people were thinking it was genuine when they could have dragged it out and kept people guessing - which would have pissed a lot of people off I don’t know what the incentive is to ...

Chinook is also the name of a Native American/First Nations people, and a type of salmon. Lots of things. I think the hotel theory sounds a lot like them though, like maybe some sort of nostalgic memory tied to the place. Who knows.
