I'm still confused. I asked the exact same question as northernlite there on the YouTube video & was told the OG rip is the new one and the V2 rip was the one that has circulated before but I have also read the opposite?

no, both rips are from 2000/01 and they are the sources for all circulating encodes, post-processings and whatnot. "V1" for the RealAudio leak and ...

Ahhh, so the leaks were degraded in quality due to compression / glitches / re-copying etc.
These are going back to the source, but not the original tape.
So the V2 is probably the better one?
