Wow. Another BOC mystery revealed. Thanks for posting this.

It makes me wonder why they faded all of this out in the first place. It's so good... I love the way it fades to static at the end, it just seems like such a proper way to end the album. I should totally download this version and replace ...

It could be an option, but not really necessary at all. Most of us don't have speakers and audio equipment that'll get too much of a difference from an already lossless CD rip, or the flac equivalent, and considering so much of BoC is sampled and/or uses filters and lo-fi elements, there wouldn't ...

24 bit release?

What does everyone thing the chances are that new album being released in some digital format of higher quality than cd such as 24bit FLACs. Warp has released 24bit versions of Autechre's latest LP and EP as well as the latest Brian Eno LP. I believe both are 24/48.

Has anyone ever been asked what they're listening to, and when you respond with the track name, they say "Oh, I've never heard of them"?

I more often would respond with the artist, so I have not had this issue...although if the person inquiring was clearly aware of the artist I might respond with ...
