In the article, they refer to the track Amo Bishop Roden as being “proto-dubstep”. Is that supposed to be a joke, or is the reviewer that disconnected from reality?

I managed to get a ticket but the time period involved was insane. I had to click the link basically at 11:00:00 on the dot and still I managed to be number 61 in the queue before I was redirected. I feel bad for those that aren't able to make it because not everyone has the time or patience.

On one hand I’m super happy that there’s crystal clear versions of these unreleased tracks. On the other hand it’s frustrating to think about just how much of their unreleased material is still out there. The BoC-Set can’t come soon enough, I say!

I’d like to imagine that the reason nothing happened on record store day is because the brothers wanted to be able to enjoy RSD without having to deal with their own hype.

If there's any unreleased BoC track that I'd like to hear a complete studio version of, it'd probably be Spiro. Until then, I think the closest I can get is slowing down the version found on Warp20 Infinite, which sounds like this:

For some reason I seem to only hear someone repeatedly saying “Panasonic” with the end of every measure someone saying “I’m just thinking”. That’s how I’ve heard it after listening to it so many times. There’s probably other words in there as well but it’s hard to make them out.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this version is quite similar to the one that's on Boc Maxima.

The worst thing BOC have ever done is showcase music and music projects (e.g. early unpublished albums) that they don’t have any apparent interest in releasing (or rereleasing). I genuinely wonder how much different BoC’s legacy would be if their unreleased and/or leaked material never had any proof ...
