The second section is a pastiche of themselves in this sense. And the bass groove is Oscar See Through Red Eye, but then when Mike plays the fills it immediately creates this feeling of a live band playing.

I disagree because the first vocal phrase in the song that begins at 0:34, for example, is less discernible than the voice that says Allahu Akbar.

There are many voices in the mix that are just as destroyed as the one that says Allahu Akbar.

The aspect of Naraka that makes me laugh are the snaps. I keep thinking of Alias’s production on Less Is Orchestra with Doseone.

Also, there’s a Japanese interview from 2006 where BOC mentions this band called Golden Avatar that was formed by a Hare Krishna devotee.
