I'm not going to wait. If I should die (or go deaf) before October 17th, I would like to go out with a new BOC song in my head.

Yeah, that was the first place I looked. I was trying to guess based on the track lengths, but they're a little off (on my end, I assume). And if I do have Old Tunes vol 2, the order is mixed up, so I'm just confused. It'd just be nice to know the names of the songs I hear.

Help me identify some songs

My first full BOC experience was from some collection of songs I downloaded from a bittorrent site about a year ago. To date, I have not been able to identify the songs (33 tracks). The only one I can figure out is "dave (i'm a real traditionalist)" which is pretty obvious based on the lyrics ...

I actually hadn't heard the Hi Scores EP until just last night (I had been trying to get the cd on Amazon, but they delayed my order for over two months...I ended up downloading it on Bleep.)

I forget where I read it, but somewhere it said that EYDIAB is the empyreal BOC track. For what I know to ...

I never really understood the idea behind live IDM. Unless they're actually playing instruments, the coolest part would be seeing the artists, in which case we should all just sit outside their houses with binoculars.

Take a look at these sesamstraat images. Kinda creepy if you ask me. Definitely no deep-tissue subconscious tickling here.

The hip-hop rhythms part scares me a bit.

I did some searching for old clips. While no BOC-related stuff came up (yet) I did find the Teeny Little Super Guy --- remember him??

Sesame Street

I grew up with the show. The little vignettes in the 80s were a lot different than they are now, but there's something so simple and magical about them. Maybe there's some connection to my fascination with BOC. A deep-tissue subconscious tickling or something.

The BOC songs with Sesame Street ...

Fortunately, some descriptions are bound to show up on the net somewhere. I do think that the idea of listening to BOC in a room full of fellow fanatics is gold. That would be my nirvana.

I talked to my sister about sending me shrooms through the mail from California, but it seems a bit risky.
Stuff 'em in a jar of peanut butter. Then read this: http://www.clusterbusters.com/legal.html#mail
Then send me an IM so we can talk more about boards of canada.

There's an emptiness in my life. I've never met a BOC fan in person. I swear I'm the only addict within a 100 mile radius (+/- 12 miles). Then again, I shouldn't be surprised because I'm living in Wisconsin. If it doesn't have to do with deerhunting or cheesemunching, we don't have it. Woe is me!

That cartoon is some of the most wierd, tripped out shit that I've ever seen

The latest episode was particularly disturbing, but somehow, the use of BOC's "Beware the Friendly Stranger" is completely perfect (both in sound and title). Fortunately, not all of my experiences with BOC bring to mind ...

How did you find BOC?

I'm just curious to know how you folks found BOC --- they're such a well-kept secret (which is part of the draw, admittedly). I guess I'm just curious because I found them completely by accident on some obscure animation website: http://www.fat-pie.com Check out the first few "Salad Fingers ...
