Well, my name IS SallyBear and I am from the UK not far from Liverpool. I was brought up by my dad on Jean Michelle Jarre, The Beach Boys and Kraftwerk (nice one dad
).
I was introduced to Autechre about 12 years ago and Aphex Twin and its been all go since then. I love everything about music, creating it, playing, listening and performing. I tend to find myself at electro or techno nights if I go to clubs, but at home and on the go its more chill for me.
I have a 6 year old daughter who is a huuuuge BoC fan and listens to The Blue Room with me weekly (dont worry i dont wake her up, we record it). She loves music, especially eclectic stuff, shes not a Britney Chick just yet, but then she is only 6 and I did once like Bros
Anyway thats my life story in a nut shell,
Oh yeah Im training to be an art teacher, and so far each school I have been in allows music in the classroms for art lessons.......hmmmm spreading the word

Alright...I already introduced myself over at another topic but I will do it again anyways since everyone is making the rounds over here:
Hello, My name is Josh and I am a BOC-aholic....PLEASE HELP!
Alright that was lame but anyways, I am from Rhode Island (in the USA), and I like music like Radiohead, BOC, My Bloody Valentine, Massive Attack, PJ Harvey, and many, many more....
Anyways, it's nice to see an active BOC forum around considering the other forums are apparantly inactive and the like. I hope many ood times will be had here....
Now isn't that special??

seems like you have nothing to complain about!
a father that has good taste in music and even your daughter!
what about your wife, does she like your music aswell?
and if that wasn´t enough.. you are even living in the best export IDM countries ever

In the first year there only were a few posts a day and sometimes when I refreshed after hours, there wasn't a single post made in between. Back then I really thought the board would die out eventually.
I think we have a pretty solid group by now. There have been a lot of one day flies and oldies who left though, but it seems like the main character of the board keeps on standing strong.
A few years ago I found it a pity that some of the top posters who had been here for a long time were slowly fading away. I learned to accept that some got bored, or didn't like the fresh breed, so they moved on over time and I probably will as well.
The overall character of the board is amazing. Not much moderation is needed and we all seem to respect one and another (apart from some exceptions). Twoism for me is a very creative forum which I check a few times a day for new stuff.
Keep it going!
(ps: I moved in to the right subforum.. back then there only was the BoC and the Random Sound section
)

2izm is the place to be. I've been here since 07, people come, people go.
I rarely fit in very well anywhere on the internet, i'm too 'normal' for most of the people/furries/weirdos i share interests with and too weird to ever be accepted anywhere like SomethingAwful. twoism is a sweet forum with a good heart and lots of crazy awesome characters to fill its halls. it is seriously the best forum i know.
