Yep.

Amazing music. His Gymnopedies and Gnosinnes (don't care about spelling right now) are genius. I know how to play all of them on the piano. The true pioneer of "atmospheric" music. His music + rainy days = I feel great to be alive.

Definitely one of my favourites, the Vienna Art Orchestra did a great take on his music called "The Minimalism of Erik Satie" definitely worth a listen if you like his music.

Gymnopédie No.1 is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever composed. Ever. I just started taking piano and music theory classes a few months ago.

I printed out the sheet music to "Gymnopédie No.1" and it is my complete motivation to flawlessly play that piece one day. Extremely moving. I first heard it on the Faithless & Dido track "Postcards" and have been in love with Erik ever since.

I collect the various albums that have been released featuring his compositions. I have many CDs & LPs, some goods, some quite bad.

I would like to hear more of him, Gymnopédie No.1 is very playful and accesible. One of these days I'm gonna get organezized in terms of classical music.

That is definately on my list of things to learn on the piano. Studies make it evident that a trance can't be avoided when performing it. God, what motherflippin genius. Also, it's a rainy day here in Hillbillyville, Indiana. Time for some Gymnopedie.

Satie is such a unique composer. I can only imagine what went on inside his brilliant brain. Plaid used a composition of his in Tearisci.
