I'm not getting sucked into leaks and fake leaks, whatever. I want to enjoy it at the same time as everyone else is for the first time the day it's released. Living in the times we live in, presumably everyone will get a download code at the same time. Truly a communal experience.
we should have an IRC or something up so we can have a listening-party thing.

I can't say I wouldn't be tempted to listen to a leak, but I'd rather listen to it the day it comes out. I've never listened to leaks before or watched bootlegs of movies, but I know a lot of people feel disillusioned after listening to them, so I'll just wait.

On the other hand, I just remembered having a Mario 3 bootleg when I was a kid and it was pretty sweet. Coolest kid on the block for awhile.

Warp has been releasing the digital versions earlier and earlier for pre-orders. I think the Exai download came what.. a week if not two weeks before the physical version released? Hopefully they do the same with TH.

And..

Anyone else getting a kind of NIN / Year Zero vibe from this? I still can't get over the track titles. I read them off to my wife this evening and she said, "Wow, sounds very Nine Inch Nails" and then that pre-order video.. how Year Zero was that? I know that they've mentioned being fans of NIN in the past. I wouldn't be surprised to see Trent's name in the liner notes.

And..

This kind of apocalyptic record and setting just cries out for a sequel. Maybe another release later in the year? Hmmm..!

Almost everyone will download it when it leaks.

Those who say they didn't and aren't completely absent from the forum during the time it has leaked to release are lying.

It does indeed somewhat resemble Year Zero.

A BoC/Reznor collaboration would be awesome, but I doubt it'd happen.

The music reflects the people. There needs to be a Twoism gathering of sorts. Would be so chill. :)

I would like to violently disagree, that would be catastrophic. Boc needs to be pure, do you dilute your milk with cheap cool aid? (Sorry Mr Reznor) ;)

I'm thinking of waiting to hear a sampler of the album tracks before taking the plunge, to see how much I like it. Will there be any preview clips in advance?

I expect it'll probably have some great songs on there, but I'd rather be sure of what it'll be like when tomorrow comes, so to speak.
