I'll have you know that I am currently the official chairman of the Iced Cooly Beatnik Appreciation Society, which gives me authority over all matters related specifically to appreciation of the Iced Cooly Beatnik song but nothing else (or at least, that's what they told me when I took the chair )

Speaking as a Beatnik who is Iced Cooly level of cool, I approve of this thread.

Sometimes I put on a black turtle neck shirt and listen to Iced Cooly Beatnik. During which, I recite poems involving the contrast between purity in flowers and corruption in bureaucracy.

I appreciate this official thread.

Iced Cooly Beatnik is one of the best tunes on OTV2 and also one of the ones I'd most likely picture myself listening to if I was the cool sunbathing lady on the cover.

i agree, it reminds me of dreamcast era video game music. beatnik is nice and all but the slightly off beat synth loop really bothers me. nice to see some otv2 appreciation though, it's one of my favourites

i really wish it was longer than 30 seconds. there's so much awesome stuff they could have done with it. Love the hard hitting beat and the rolling synth melody towards the end before it fades out leaving me heartbroken

This is what makes OTV2 so great though. So many tracks that know exactly how long to exist for. Sure, maybe an extra 20 seconds to revel in the awesome vibe would be a treat, but I never even come close to tiring of these tracks because they never stick around too long for their own good, something some official BoC tracks can arguably fall victim to.
