I surely don't have access to the artist's personal thoughts and motivations, but I can't feel them at all, and I can't say that I think Ween are weird at all in my world.

"Reggaejunkiejew! Pumpin' 4 The Man! Flies On My Dick!!! Touch My Tooter! huhuhuh "Hey Fat Boy (Asshole)" that's some seriously weeeeeird tunes man!!!!"

Compare these tracks and play Pure Guava to someone stoned and see the reaction compared to drukqs and geogaddi...Pure Guava would make a retarded stoner or a 10 year old giggle at best, when tracks like "Opening The Mouth", Gwely Mernans, A Is To B As B Is To C and "Gwarek2" will make them go "wtf!!! this is so weird its scary dude, turn this shit off!!! im trippin badly

Well Archie I agree with you on Pure Guava.
I only like post Chocolate and Cheese Ween where they actually write songs instead of noisey weird experiments.
But I've been getting into Trout Mask Replica lately and I think it's good.

On the other hand Cupz never said that the album had to be good per say, just strange.

I agree about Drukqs, it's great but also very strange.

I have to add Vivian Stanshall's Sir Henry At Rawlinson End. Insane spoken word genius with very bizarre musical interludes. Or possibly outerludes.

I've been reading a book about the history of the Atomic Bomb. Apparently some Federal Civil Defence Agency people thought it would be a good idea to release a spoken word album called The Complacent American. It seems it mostly consists of a man, vapourised by a Russian missile attack, who is now regretting not building a bomb shelter as he watches from heaven.

confield and untilted (draft and quaristice really bring out their hip hop influence tho so it seems more normal to me)
selected ambient works 2 is weird if you haven't gotten used to all the tracks, the first 2-3 times listening to it are a treat

Yep. Although I once listened to it around 7am, having not slept and still a bit out of my face, and found it absolutely terrifying. I was so scared I had to switch it off and phone my sister. Shiver me timbers.
