The beat isn't dope enough
also listen to this one its better.
The beat isn't dope enough
My guess is based upon the negative implications of what an "electro beat" is.seanandcandy wrote:i just don't think it's quite DOPE enough like it's pretty dope but i mean, Quietus said it was THE DOPEST BEAT YETPlatrixECV wrote:I vote for Sick Times.
Counting might make it Telepath. I've (over) focusing and the vocal snippets felt like someone counting to ten.Compound Candy wrote:Why not "Nothing Is Real"?
It sounds like "Roygbiv part.2" to me!
Is this a child's voice that we hear counting?
Hopefully it'll be officially out tonight!
Wait, what eventually became Sunshine Recorder?PlatrixECV wrote:My guess is based upon the negative implications of what an "electro beat" is.seanandcandy wrote:i just don't think it's quite DOPE enough like it's pretty dope but i mean, Quietus said it was THE DOPEST BEAT YETPlatrixECV wrote:I vote for Sick Times.
Definitely has the sound of a pre-Geogaddi unreleased live cut. Especially the stuff reminds me if ATP. Particular how I got obsessed with the what eventually became Sunshine Recorder. The beats are so deep live. Track 2 is still my fave from that one.
it's too long for telepathPlatrixECV wrote:Counting might make it Telepath. I've (over) focusing and the vocal snippets felt like someone counting to ten.Compound Candy wrote:Why not "Nothing Is Real"?

i think it sounds more like yelps than numbers, i can't make out any discernible numbers but hey, we'll find out soon :~)Compound Candy wrote:"Nothing is Real" is 3:52.seanandcandy wrote:it's too long for telepathPlatrixECV wrote: Counting might make it Telepath. The guy who got the video said he got about 90% of the track...
The sound has the "Roygbiv" happy childish feel to me...
Counting...
Fair point. Just commenting generally on how it is to guess songs based upon relatively vague reviews.seanandcandy wrote:it's too long for telepathPlatrixECV wrote:Counting might make it Telepath. Track 4 from ATP. I listened to the shit out of it before Geogaddi came out.egbdf wrote:Wait, what eventually became Sunshine Recorder?PlatrixECV wrote:My guess is based upon the negative implications of what an "electro beat" is.seanandcandy wrote: i just don't think it's quite DOPE enough like it's pretty dope but i mean, Quietus said it was THE DOPEST BEAT YET

I see what you mean, but my instinct is that when we hear it properly, there'll be more depth in layers and textures that we're not getting come through on this video.Guido wrote:Hmm, I'm not sure what to think of it. It sounds a bit more stiff than I had expected from them, like it's Boards Of Canada trying to imitate Boards Of Canada. But it might grow on me like Reach For The Dead did.
