EDIT + SPOILERS:
favorite scene in the whole finale? jesse crafting the box spoken of back in the Fly episode, with that flashback transitioning straight into his captivity a la nazi. flawless execution, and absolutely heartbreaking..

Word, that really got to me. I have a huge soft spot for that character, my heart was always aching for him.

Great ending, almost kind of low key, but I thought it was terrific. I kept wondering what route they'd go, if there'd be a huge twist, but I think it was a logical conclusion to the story. I really didn't want to see Walt kill Jesse or vice versa, that would have bummed me out big time.

Finally caught it. Quite a great ending, low-key, as Rainer said.

My favorite scene? A very short shot when Walter is saying goodbye to Holly, and Skyler is watching in the back, and you see a tear roll down her face. That was the moment I felt I finally understood her labyrinthine, easy-to-misinterpret character. I've hated her most of the series, so this was a big moment for me.

Also, the final shots with Walter in the lab, the way he walks around the equipment, the look on his face with the sirens approaching, and naturally, his death. I've always seen a bit of myself in him, and watching his demise was heartbreaking.

And the scene at the Schwartzes house! He was so badass!

Awesome series. Great ending. One of the best TV shows of all time...

That said, I will probably not ever watch it again. Once you've seen it, it will never have that same intensity twice.

My brother and I got our parents to start watching and it's funny to get texts from my mom about her reaction to stuff. She's on season 2 now and she's like "wow, things are getting pretty crazy!" And I'm like "oh just you wait, you have no idea"
