One thing I learned after seeing how big of a disappointment this has all turned out: always wait a month until after something comes out to fully assess if you're getting your money's worth. Reminds me of an indie game I bought as soon as it finally exited development hell for a few years, played it for awhile only to meet a game ending bug that makes me have to play through it all again. There's also the PS4 and all the issues at launch.
Never buying anything again until I know all issues are found and dealt with.

I never preorder things. Part of me was afraid they would all get snatched up, I guess.

I certainly don't have this problem with any other record and Geogaddi / IABPOITC sound great.
I wish i could hear this properly but only have earbuds here at work, took a quick listen and only really heard generic surface noise that i must've heard on a thousand records in the past. I think I shall give that clip a listen again later at a better volume. Breen's youtube clip is mental, definite crazy noise happening all the time through that track. I *still* haven't got my LPs and EPs out the shrinkwrap yet, heading to the parents' house this weekend where there is a record player (I bought the reissues in anticipation of getting a record player again as I'm moving house soon to a bigger place and want to start up a little record collection again of important (to me) records). Hoping they are not all f***ed

The noise is more prominent with decent speakers/headphones. I can't really hear it through the speakers in my iMac but when I listen through my KRK Rokits, it's definitely there.
That said, through the process of recording and uploading to Soundcloud the clicks sound less intrusive than they do when I'm listening through my HiFi system. Probably due to some loss of quality / cutting out of frequencies.
I appreciate that most records do have some surface noise but the clicks are consistent with the revolution of the record (and also much worse than on any other new record I own). Surely that indicates a fault in the pressing process.

Best idea is to give to a friend who can try it on their record player and see if it does exactly the same fault. If not, could be your setup / needle / whatever... Just an idea!

Many apologies for the problems with your vinyl that you have highlighted.
Whilst this is a limited problem, it is clear that there have been serious failings in the quality control at one of the plants used to produce the represses.
Warp are working on identifying the causes of this and producing replacements for anyone who has bought a copy affected by these problems.
This is going to take several weeks, but be assured that you will receive perfect replacement discs as soon as possible.
We will be in touch when these are despatched.
We are grateful for any photographs, recordings and descriptions that you can send, which can be used as evidence in our dealing with the plant in question.

Yeh exactly, I've tried them on my Dads record player. Same problems.

Perfect sense. We're all so very lucky to have parted with our cash in this way for this quality product. So.....damn.....lucky....
Anyway, think i'll be checking my vinyl ASAP, at least it looks like Bleep are sorting the problem out. Good on you guys for pestering them! I feel guilty for not getting right on it from the start and un-shrinkwrapping my copies to check 'em out...

It seems strange to tell people to "quit complaining" - I hope it's completely obvious by now that people aren't fabricating these issues. Numerous reports of "these are the only records I own that have these types of problems"
I get it if you aren't "into" vinyl but it's a manufacturing defect on a large scale. Of course we can listen to all of these digitally, but when you're paying extra for what SHOULD be a cherished and less disposable format, you want to get a functional product.

Ok, so with this latest update I think I have to say 'fair enough'. They've mucked up, but taking that as a given all you can ask for is for them to put it right properly and keep us informed. They clearly had to investigate first, also fair enough, before issuing this message.
Clearly we'd all have preferred the stuff to just arrive right first time, but ok, I can live with this.

After reading about all of the pressing issues, I've decided to stay away from TCH and all the EPs except for IABPOITC, which I just purchased.
I'm bummed to find that the ending of Amo Bishop Roden has heavy distortion and noise that isn't in the song at all. It starts just after all that swirling noise in the song plays out at around 5:30 mark and continues right through to the end of the song. It's a combination of the distortion heard on Corsair (yes, I have Geogaddi with that issue) along with some louder surface noise.
I'll be exchanging it tomorrow and see how the next copy is.
I don't think Geogaddi is worth replacing, as the distortion is not very noticeable. And like someone said either here or another forum, it sounds like the distortion lessens each time you play it, almost like the problem goes away once the needle wears down the groove a little. The digital download version of Corsair seems to have similar distortion in the same places on the track, so it could be an issue with the song's mastering.
