i really enjoy this track. one of the staples from a few old tunes. when i listen to this track i picture an old movie store a few towns away from mine. most of bocs tracks make me picture a place, or feel a feeling, or both. lol

Soothing and very enjoyable in a strange way. I can't really name something I like about it, but I like it.

I like it, it has that analog synth that to Me is vaguely reminiscent of the old Genesis game Columns, I know it's a tenuous link but it's what comes to mind at first.

In terms of full songs, it doesn't rate high. It's repetitive and doesn't go anywhere. On the other hand, you can't really treat these interludes as full songs. BoC's albums aren't meant to be listened to piecemeal.

slow this bird down

amazing track. the atmosphere and sound is absolutely incredible. slow this bird down is a perfect song to gear for the end of a long journey which is the campfire headphase. the last minute of slow this bird down might be one of my favorite moments in all of bocs music. the little bit of music toward the end is so nostalgic, but very sad. because it marks the end of the journey. 9/10

I must not be a realfan© because this is sure to be a disgraceful review of this incredible track. One of my favorites. Even as I begin to lose a bit of interest in BOC as I approach the hill (not very close, lol), this track pervades. 1:58 (ARE YOU SERIOUS!?). I can still remember my very first time hearing this track. It still plays out like a story to me, something very personal, but at the same time, universal. That probably doesn't make much sense at all. The most sobering outro they've ever done IMO. One of my GOTO tracks for a BOC noob.

this is among my favorite from BOC. i put the track on, and am listening to it now. just to remind myself how much i love it. but this track is more than music. its a feeling. its a distant memory that you cant quite put your finger on. but its home. 10\10

im going to use the same track for the next poster. since id like to hear someone else's opinion on the track, its nice to see the varying viewpoints on a song. i could understand if some people viewed the track as just random noise, or boring. but to me its much more.

9.5/10. The soundscape in this one feels much thicker and more captivating than other short tunes by them, really makes me feel a perfect blend of happiness and anticipation for the future. I'd give it a 10, but I know there will be a perfect moment for this tune to really hit me and I'm waiting for that moment. Gorgeous track.

8.5/10 Sad, Bleak, Haunting. Rainswept days stood looking out the window. If like me you grew up in the UK (Scotland to be exact)this might just remind you of those old Public Information Films,especially the ones warning of hidden dangers where the children are playing near power lines or electricity sub-stations and fly their kites into pylons or go to retrieve a trapped Frisbee from a live generator leading to, as the title says "Powerline Misfortune" and a horrible end.

Wonderful morose stuff, yeh? I Really hope they will release most or all of the old BOC stuff. It's All Brilliant.
