A very nice cover. I would have liked to see it take a new direction, rather than just copying the original, though.

And you didn't include the "Hey"

Yeah, but at least the opening riff sounds authentic; very phat synth sound out of a computer program. Could have put the "Hey's" in. :)

Hey man, Can I take this and add in the Hey's and see what it sounds like?

Nice experiment! The pitch doesn't seem to quite hit the proper height at the end of each sections, though.

Heres an Work In Progress version of my cover of "In a Beautiful Place Out in the Country".
This is a cover of the Live version from ATP (so thats my excuse for how LO-FI it is).

http://rapidshare.com/files/292493391/A ... lPlace.mp3

Did anyone ever find the sample they used for the vocals in that track? I realy need it or i'll have to record my own. I also need to add in the kids voices laughing.

I can't seem to find an audio quote. But for your searches, I believe it was Amo Bishop Roden who said "...come out and join a religious community in a beautiful place in the country."

Thanks dono, I was sure it was her also. I've looked before and had no luck finding the video the sample was taken from. I'll keep searching till I find it I think.
