Dude, you're a few weeks behind. Most of the 'obvious' stuff to decode this has been tried. Not saying don't try and crack it but I'm feeling like I'm in time loop.
Also, I don't beleive this is just a message for those in the know. If you only want your mates to come to your party you don't do this, you just ring them up or e-mail them, surley.

My dreams are slowly diminishing of ever making it out there with each passing day that we get no info.
I would just like to say if anyone, and I stress ANYONE has cracked the code or knows someone who's going, please, please get a good quality recording of their set. And if there's people talking next to you, give 'em a few smacks for Derail. After all, it's not everyday that they play live and this stuff is worth more than gold to us. That is all_Derail

man, i dont know what to say. ive talked to a couple of people who live up there who said they'd keep their ears open too, and passed the code on to a couple of people who are probably smarter than myself, maybe we'll go up on a wild goose chase and try and find it. the question is where to start???

maybe it means that they are going to release something else under a new alis or something. or do a radio interview or god so many things it could mean.
i dont think it will be a tour or a gig cause thats prob what they want us all to think imo.

they have been overdue for a live performance of some kind and with them throwing thmeselves into new album and new EP i reckon they are going to do something
maybe someone knows someone in the police in Edinburgh, or Council planning department, things like gigs need permission etc, give them the date and see if they can find anything out, i reckon thats the best way to see, then again if its not in Edinburgh or around there then who knows?

i wasnt suggesting about informing the police, but if you are planning something legit, i.e. if at the last minute there are tickets involved or its official or whatever, then planning or something will have to have taken place, was just suggesting a possible way of finding out

well, less than six weeks to go, and nobody has any idea. or somebody(ies) knows and isnt saying. the only thing i can think of is, are there any festivals on that weekend in the UK? abroad? i dont believe its going to be another release as trans can will be released 4 days prior. i dont believe BoC dont want us to know about it as im not aware of them ever doing anything like this before (with their website). im still planning my life as if im going to figure out where it is. at any rate, any boccers interested in travelling up (if it does happen) with me, give us a shout. i may do something stupid and go up anyway, even if i dont figure out where it is.

HOLY CRAP you could be right batman!!
but really that would make sence. they havent done a gig in years and maybe they are just going to do a small one, set up for an hour or something. that would be sweet.

According to a guy from Fnac.com (it's something similar to Amazon), this "secret message" is a code you'll have to type to access hidden bonus when the EP will be released. But he has no other information and received no confirmation from Warp yet.
(so I still hope he's wrong: his explaination is not very esoteric, if he's right this code has no key, it IS only a key).

i still think it has to have something to do with a live event, because why else would it have the Redmoon reference?

This can still work for a live event. If the code is a one-time pad and the other half is on the disc then you can decipher it. The "hidden bonus" might just be a website address or e-mail to get info on the live event. Or it could unlock a page saying where to go.
I was hoping it would be something like this.
Can you provide more info on this fnac.com info Docteur? Linky?

yeah i think you may be right, so that you can only get tickets if you have bought the EP, so maybe you need the code and the CD of the EP to unlock a website with the ticket info etc? OR maybe they are just having a laugh at our expense and it means fuck all
