i had these words... apipaelex and epiphoelem in my head. then i drew a diagram of a tree and labeled the top and bottom with these words. then i drew a bunch of other sketches like that and labeled the whole thing INVENTING SCIENCE as a statement of my views on the nature of human science.

it's going to snow here tonight in salt lake, and today was probably the last dry day on the trails for this year, so i went for one last mountain bike ride. i'm also getting wrist surgery in 5 weeks, so it'll be the last of anything i do for awhile to say the least. i had a decent ride down this trail called 'the bobsled' (not my vid) and right when i got to the very end of the trail, i got flats on both tubes! today was ironically also the first day i haven't bothered to take extras and a pump... SOoooo, i had to walk it 4 miles back uphill to my car. not very fun.

on that note, i light my bong up in reverence to a season that kicked ass but fizzled out like a dying firefly. oh well. catch y'all later in the 'post when you're drunk' thread.
