you know, they probably view the whole numbers thing much like..
you view your friends'/parents' views of what you found funny when you were, say, 10-15 years younger. it was funny/interesting then. now it seems immature.

maybe not those specific adjectives are present, but it might be the same kind of thing.
so going with numbers.. maybe not so accurate. although it is fun.

of course, watch the new album have everything to do with numbers and i stand here a fool

Yeah, even thought BoC has a rather large catalog of tracks, you can quickly exhaust it and crave more. The slow trickle of releases isn't enough to quench a thirsty BoC fan.
