The focus on the spiral sounds amazing. Sorry for being cautious, they're a lot of fakes out there. Hope all the times match.

Thank you! But, again, for the purposes of everything, these could be fake. I want to believe their legitimacy, but I don't want to be held accountable for anything.ONTHE88 wrote:Also in case you didn't already know, you are the fucking MAN! yeah. closes vol 1 is like an hour long. this doesnt really add up. but i dont know how tape decks work so...noby wrote:Wait, when did you start ripping? Ah, good point, that is a fake rip on yt. I stand corrected. It's hard not to be skeptical given these tapes past! Lets hope it's this is the real thing!MindElevation wrote:Please point me in the direction of a full album rip of closes vol.1 on youtube....Radio Kadugli wrote:What I'm wondering is:
Couldn't someone have just hooked a tape deck up to a computer, uploaded the full album rips of these tapes that are currently on Youtube, and just hit record? Then, print the hi-res scans of the covers off of bocpages and maybe photoshop them if necessary?
Not doubting the OP's sincerity at all, believe me, but I could do that right now and drop them off at my local Goodwill.
I used the high speed dubbing.Vostok wrote:yeah. closes vol 1 is like an hour long. this doesnt really add up. but i dont know how tape decks work so...noby wrote:Wait, when did you start ripping? 1. I think you've distanced yourself enough if they are fake. I appreciate the fact you are doing what you can so far!NEUROMUTE wrote:Thank you! I called Goodwill, by the way. They said they couldn't give personal info, because they rarely even know.
Alright, Dropbox is uploading the compressed file, now. They're not in any order, I don't think, but just ask which track and I'll tell you.drixlin wrote:1. 2. I didn't suspect you would get any info...I mean, unless the person who received the cassettes knew what they were, the person will never be recognized who dropped them off. For all we know, they could have been sitting in a box that got delivered full of crap!
Also, can't wait for the post. I totally agree with the Record Store Day all over again sentiment, I was thinking the same thing, ha!
did you slice them up already?NEUROMUTE wrote:Alright, Dropbox is uploading the compressed file, now. I don't think I'll be ordering one from here again.
You star! Thanks.NEUROMUTE wrote:Alright guys. So happy to share this wonderful moment with you, even if it's possibly fake. Either way, this will be in my Walkman for days in the forest calculating spiral oscillations!
