DF messaged me last week asking me to confirm my address, when I asked if they could hold off sending it for a week as I am away they said "actually it will be in about 5 to 6 weeks before it ships."

I'm concerned that volume 2 might not make it. Where are the 111 people who backed volume 1?

I bought the first vinyl as a result of having the funds available. I did not buy the second as a result of needing to raise money to fit the definition of being broke. I should have a job soon! Finally! Then I can get out of debt, save up for stuff, and have a bit of spending money for wonderful things like Curio Vol. 2.

I'm liking Vol. 1 on vinyl!! I really want Vol. 2 and hopefully Vol. 3 will follow, too. Chris deserves this support and I want to give it to him, although I think he'd understand that I need to purchase necessities as a priority and even some of those are temporarily suspended from my budget. I could not purchase a BoC vinyl at the moment. :( Take your time Chas and Sauce. No rush to release anything right now, fellas.

This job opportunity could not have come at a better time. I hope to start getting some more income soon.

I've only recently got into christ. and I find out there's 2 albums that arent online... I'm aware that some of these tracks are already in the curio compilations (or shorter versions of them), so my question is: were the full version of the tracks really never been heard before? what about the tracks from delicass harmonium that didn't make into the compilation? is asking to listen to delicass and yugo 77 like asking to listen to Play by Numbers or All Lights Fucked on the Hairy Amp Drooling? just wanted to make sure if a full rip from these albums were never leaked before.

Aside from that I've been really digging the rest of his discography, and I even managed to get my hands on a CD copy of Seeing and Doing which I wasn't expecting to find for sale on my country's version of ebay.

Yeah, Delicass Harmonium and Yugo77 are Acid Memories level rare. The difference, of course, being that Christ. actually did release a collection of his early material (unlike some bands I know) that includes most of the tracks from them.

A lot of his work in general is rare/out of print. I picked up a Curio vinyl off his Bandcamp a couple of years ago and it's already going for $100+ on Discogs.

I think the main reason those tracks will never be released is because of some samples which were used in them without permission (this is the reason why some of them are only partially released, I guess the problematic parts are cut out).

First time I'm checking his own stuff in 12-13 years I'm into the band. You can hear his connection with the Sandisons, but it's really really not as good, would be totally forgettable if he hadn't been in BoC.

Chris and I have spent some timeless moments together in Scotland, many of which I can't get into online really, but I can in person, for reasons that may or may not be obvious.

Well...I can say I had haggis for the first time courtesy of Mrs. Christ and her family recipe. I was not stoked on this, but being an aspiring good guest I took a bite and was pleasantly surprised. Hit the spot on a rainy evening and slept like a log that night!

Chris remixed one of my tracks and I think it's quite lovely to this day:

To me, it's remarkable that people make music at all, let alone put it out there for scrutiny, among other things. It's been hard at times to stick with it myself. Lots of noise and negative comments really can weigh on one's mind and creative spirit, and I know his proximity to Boards is both a blessing and a curse.

To keep creating through all the aimless hate, rampant cluelessness, brief attention spans, AI slop, you name it, takes a very special kind of person. I'm still trying to give myself permission to be like him and other musician friends I look up to immensely.

If I heard Blue Shift Emissions while unaware of his association with Hexagon Sun I'd definitely not forget. His music is powerful.

Amazing remix and story. Wow. I ordered a few records from him years ago on bandcamp. I hadn't received them yet on the day of my move out of Vermont, however, there was a gnarly storm that kept me one more day, upon which the package from Christ. arrived. The inside of the mailer was saturated with the aroma of tobacco smoke in a profound way, and he sent an additional CD too. I corresponded with him briefly to say thank you for the music.

Amen to what you've written at the end here.
