M xI dunno if this is what you mean with "purchase".But you should check it out.[/url]
cool film. i like when 'wasn't born to follow' by the byrds is playing as they're leaving the commune.thedisavowed wrote:Easy Rider.
Sometimes it seemed more like an extended music video than a feature film, but I thought it was great.
That "If Six Was Five" or whatever Hendrix song was rad.
Does anyone know if that movie was the first place "Born to be Wild" appeared? It seemed so appropriate. A lot of cool shots and some crazy editing too.
"INDIANS!"
It's funny you should mention Pi because I just watched that for the first time ten minutes ago. Loved the music. Nice to hear some Autechre in a cinematic format.ross adey wrote:cool film. i like when 'wasn't born to follow' by the byrds is playing as they're leaving the commune.thedisavowed wrote:Easy Rider.

quality. i just recently saw 'pi' which i thought was pretty cool. christ used a sample from it for his tune 'always to play' on MRM. "when i was a little kid my mother told not to stare into the sun" i think BT also used "mathematics is the language of nature" for their tune 'the fibonacci sequence'
how could i forget my other fave films- quadrophenia and full metal jacket!!M wrote:Thats not it!!Cupz wrote:It took me 3.23491 secs to find it. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007N ... ance&n=130M wrote:no films have really gripped me or made me laugh in a long time

kinda got my hopes up then. it was made in the 80's, think it could be snide re-make of it tho, would love to see original. Thanks anyway cupz
Hey, I don't blame you. I think it's one of those movies where you either really like it or really you don't. Jack Nicolson did a lot for me in that movie. I kind of wish that Peter Fonda had been beat to death instead.ExitEuXa wrote:Don't get me wrong but i found 'Easy Rider' quite boring, out of time, good music score but that's it for me, sorry guys.

What a waste of five bucks.
lol...I think potc 2 is a typical sequallthedisavowed wrote:I went to a matinee... thank goodness...
I disagree 'The Two Towers' that was a very good sequel.thedisavowed wrote:It had the EXACT SAME plot as the first one, only with a new prick from the homeland generating troubles for will and elizabeth and a new mystical object associated with Jack Sparrow's sordid past that they must recover in the face of more supernatural, semi-demonic resistance.
Very little acting, very little plot, very little soul.
Empire Strikes Back and Two Towers were sequels. Pirates 2 was a rehash. Which is a shame, because I really liked the first one.
