Sorry but Heaven 17 were great and so incredibly well produced by Peter Walsh. I was listening to some mixes as I was driving mostly modern produced stuff and then Penthouse and Pavement came on and just punched a hole through everything 2000 on I had been listening too. It was just Synth to air to tape and BAM

Hey, I wouldn't consider Spandau Ballet a guilty pleasure! That's pure gold pop music (well at least some of their songs - but most of them I'd say).

JT is one of the most talented pop stars out there for sure! At first I was gonna mention him and then I was like "nah I don't even feel guilty". He's cool.

I'm not one for the "Guilty Pleasure" title.... I just think you just like what you like.... I figured that out back in '89 when the album "Girl You Know It's True" by Milli Vanilli came out. I was in 5th grade and the peer pressure from all the 12 yr old "cool" kids made me feel weird for liking it. That's when I said fuck it, there are some catchy ass pop songs on there. Even if they do all have the same beat. Haha. I'll still throw on "Baby Don't Forget My Number" once in a while. Lol

well I'd say I generally agree you like what you like and don't feel bad it its outside the norm. I can definitely place some music I like squarely in the camp of belonging to a certain era and sounding very dated by now but its still good vs stuff I like that was never really good but I dug it anyway.

The Pirate Movie film score. Now that is bad and cheesy but i liked it anyway. I actually think I might cover How Can I live Without her as a dance track.

I'm usually a strict electronic guy, but when Micheal Jackson comes on, I can't help but dance. Also enjoy all the vintage 80's synths in his tracks.

man, the new kanye west album is really being good for me right now, like, a lot. i've never been a fan but this time around i'll totally forgive his mediocre rapping

"All Fired Up" by The Saturdays. The lyrics (what there are of them) are abysmal, the tune is cobbled together from worn out Trance tropes and it's so over produced there's virtually no genuine dynamic to the track but in spite of all of this I can't help but like the bloody thing.

For starters: "SexyBack" is a GOOD song. Period. I hate boy bands, never liked that guy, but he got it right with that one song.

I try not to be one to listen to pretentious music that is generally considered to be noise/shit, but they give me so much damn feeling. I'm growing a bond with them.

Ariel Pink and Jorge Elbrecht from Violens new collaborative 7" has a B side, that induces a pleasurably guilty feeling in me. No Real Friend. Love this tune.....
