I-doser is an actual website and I have tried some of their *ahem* "digital drugs" but they don't actually have any effects (even after following specific instructions of how to listen to them)

I-doser is an actual website and I have tried some of their *ahem* "digital drugs" but they don't actually have any effects (even after following specific instructions of how to listen to them)

yeah. I wanted it to work so bad. the countless of hours spent listening to white noise.
I tried it with weed, dreamachines and everything.
Some very convincing video's on youtube though.

yeah i'm staying, mainly because it's summer and school's over until september so i have 2 months to waste. i've been using omegle recently and it's fucking hilarious some times XD

Yeah, I've tried various things like that before. I've even tried hypnosis tapes. Nothing has ever worked.

The closest I've ever had to an altered state is being realllly relaxed when listening to some of the "Electronic listening music" from Warp (Artificial Intelligence, Selected Ambient Works, etc. etc.)

Mind you, it's in those moments where I realised that the "spend half of your life in education and the rest of your life working a full time job" aspiration was a complete waste of life (I'm not a religious man, so I think that what we've got now is it so it would be a shame to waste it). I could see why American media corporations would be scared of music that allows people to see through the bullshit.

Why? Why in god's name would I ask people "Hey, why does everyone foam at the mouth when anyone mentions Pendulum?" when I KNOW very well what the answer /anywhere else/ would be?

Because I hold out hope that I will be able to get a reasonable response here. Because I admire and adore Twoism for its unique take on everything I can't get anywhere else on the internet.

I like Pendulum.

I should put that comment in context: I don't care about DnB, I don't belong to any 'scene' and never have, I've never raved, the "culture" of the music doesn't matter to me one way or the other, I don't make any distinction between "mainstream" and "underground", blah, blah, blah, blah, fucking BLAH.

Why do I like it? Because it's catchy and has pretty melodies. Because I can listen to it. That's.... really that's it. When did that become a non-reason? Why, because it sounds pleasant to me and that's the only reason I need to expend the HALF A CALORIE OF ENERGY IT TAKES TO CLICK 'PLAY' AND ENJOY IT IN MY EARHOLES, does someone somewhere on the internet have to have a stroke and scream "YOU NOB THAT'S SHITE MUSIC FOR BABIES"?

Word. Here's a funny little anecdote, I was at a friend's house, and my friends and I were messing about on his computer and they were putting on drum n bass stuff on Youtube. He comes into the room and goes "You think that's drum and bass? THIS is drum and bass" and sticks on some Pendulum song! (And not any of their earlier stuff too)

I would like to announce that Eurohike make she biggest pieces of shit tents I have ever encountered

I know how to put up a tent and have done so for many years, have been to festivals and camping numerous times and was a member of scouts for 4 years. I decided to break this 3 man tent in so put it up and 2 fucking rips appeared on the outer sleeves. I then gathered it back in, noticed another big rip on the base sheet, and then after putting it back in -and it's never a great fit second time- the zip came off while pulling it to!
