fair enough, I'll be waiting for you to post the article when he "writes" about it for his "magazine".

I am excited to read if it is true.

Speculations are that you are trolling. You might not be but a troll will never tell you the truth of their mischiefs.
Surely if i was trolling i would have come up with something better than my friend who works for a couple of music mags listened to the album at Warp and thought it was immense. People who usually work for well known music magazines do tend to get invited to listen to albums before their releases funnily enough. Can't wait for it's release now!
I'm not saying you're lying, but why aren't you elaborating on your conversation with him? This is basically how you are saying the conversation went:

Everything...is a balloon: "Hey man, what's up?!"
Mag Friend: "Not much, just got to preview the new BoC at Warp!"
Everything...is a balloon: "Really?? How is it???"
Mag Friend: "Immense."
Everything...is a balloon: "See ya."

*Everything...is a ballon and Mag Friend turn away from each other and walk to their respective homes*

So did we ever get any other word on the possibility of a single tonight? I know the BBC radio guy removed his status about it, but have we gotten any firm confirmation/denial? Also, anyone going to be listening in with recording capabilities, just in case?

I'm a believer. I just wonder how exactly we should interpret 'immense'. To me it sounds like it could be like a massive wall of sound, perhaps a bit like 747. Something to be heard with high volume. Something that blows you away. That would be immense.

Excited!
Agree!

When I saw Tommorow's Harvest playlist, I immediately knew what's this album gonna be about. Dark stuff, because even BoC feels the world is going to change. Fucking surveillance everywhere and lack of freedom and happiness. Future so much different from future BoC imaginated when they grew up. Just read those track names: Sick Times, Sun Down, etc... BUT i hope New Seeds, Come to Dust and Semena Mertvykh (seeds of dead) will be somehow optimistic, because there is still chance for a better world (in a form of tiny seed of thruth inside everyone of us).

I mean even if your friend did hear the record, if I were you I would have just said nothing, because it can't be proved if they did or they didn't.

it seems a little bit of a "hey look at me I know a guy" kinda thing.

just what I'd do though, everyone here seems to think if I'm against something then I'm against a person.

I hate no one.

I can't control what you do so what do I care.

All I know is that I'm waiting for the new record, and I'm hoping it will be good.

I'm very hopeful of something this week if not today.

I get the feeling the BBC Scotland guy pre-empted a single / preview track release.

I'd also imagine there'll be no need to record it. BoC/Warp would know there'd be low quality radio rips, and they wouldn't want that to be everyone's first taste of the album. They'd prefer to give people a proper 320K download of the single (free or otherwise), which I imagine would be released before any radio play.

Well it still hasn't been confirmed there will be a new BoC track in his show. He hasn't posted a new statusupdate either. And his tagline of the show is just a general one.

I want to believe though... just because I think it would've been stupid of him to lie about it in the first place. That could only do him harm.

I think it was originally supposed to be a surprise, so he had to remove his status (and so did bocpages).

Yes he surely was told by Warp he'd be getting a new track to play tonight.

So either they wanted to keep it secret, or decided to wait to play it another night.

Either way, I'm very hopeful of something this week.

I figured the description would be generic but still looks good to me! Could the debut of the single have been pushed back because we know now?

Indeed, I was contacted by someone from Peer Group who apparently handles "Boards of Canada radio".

I was politely asked to remove the posts on bocpages' facebook and twitter account about Vic Galloway.
Two quotes from that conversation I've had:
This information is incorrect and no plays of new music from the band have been confirmed as yet.
No plays of new music have been confirmed as yet which is why Vic and his producer have removed the posts. I would greatly appreciate if you could do the same please?
