As I am in England and have an account with the BBC, I listened to the part of the show from outhudd's BBC Sounds link. "Feels With Me" is a really nice optimistic sounding indie song with lots of organic acoustic instrumentation, very lush on the ears and put a smile on my face.
Feels With Me has been around for a while. Still a great one though!

Well spotted. This is indeed a change.

Seems like they turned off the origin server today. We'll see when/if it returns. It did so in the past.

That escalated quickly.

Laravel is a popular open-source PHP framework used for building modern web applications.
It provides developers with tools, libraries, and a structured way to write code so they don’t have to “reinvent the wheel” every time they build a site or app.
The question remains: who has been working on a BoC-related domain that is still owned by Warp?

Another important question is why are they letting us see this page? Assuming the site has been under construction for the pas few months, why is this showing now?

Now everything makes sense. The brothers knew that the site will serve a different purpose in the near future and they informed us by writing "nobody home". So it seems that cosecha-transmisiones.com is no more Boc related.
I still believe in LP5 by the way.. but this Laravel thing is something completely unrelated.

Then why not just get rid of the site? Wouldn't that be cheap to use it for something else? That doesn't make sense at all.

Maybe they got rid of the site, sold the domain to Lavarel? I am no expert, but according to a whois request site is still owned by Warp.. However, according to whois, the site was last updated on 2025-03-24 00:36:53 UTC, which doesn't seem right.

I don't know, but I find it really hard to see a connection to Boc. This page is simply a list of links. There are probably thousands of random Laravel domains out there, designed to increase the product's reach. But that's just my really naive opinion. I really hope there is more to it

In short: devs use Laravel to build any site or app. Could still be BoC related.
It's just building blocks for something to be built.

It makes zero sense that Warp would sell that site. That site is such small niche in the market and useless to 99.99999% of the people on this planet. Don't you find it curious that the site is going through changes 12 years after it was in use? Did it just occur to them that they had this site available to sell? Are they that hard up for cash?

Now I get it. Googled something like "laravel blank website", and it seems to look like that.

I am a scary web developer and I have been scratching my head as to why you would push the Laravel starter template to production. Its actually hilarious. What the heck!

I suspect some trolling is occurring...

Boards Of Canada, did you finish the Youtube tutorial series for setting up Laravel yet? I get it, PHP is tough....

I also want to clarify the WHOIS info on cosecha-transmisiones.com

Image

The most important bits:
  • Expires on: 2026-04-23 (The owner renewed the account for at least another year)
  • Client transfer prohibited (it can't change ownership easily)
  • Organisation: Warp Records (very good news)
  • Updated on: 2025-03-24 (this has nothing to do with website changes, but this could mark the moment when someone did the renewal of the domain, update the transfer lock status, change some admin info, edit dns records, update billing info, update privacy of records,...)
Bottom line: this is still an exciting domain and changes on this domain should not be disregarded.
After all this is still a Boards of Canada related domain and Warp is their label.
I can't imagine that Warp, of all possible domains, would use this one to experiment with something unrelated to Boards of Canada. They're reasonable people, aren't they?
