I think we should delete or close this thread. Currently it seems like the clues are not exclusive to vinyl and it seems otherwise so a record hunt seems kinda useless...

Offtopic kinda, but did you by any chance grab one of the limited handmade Atoms for Peace records?krs wrote:I coulda told you that, checked on the first day.zeoevil wrote:Nothing in Tacoma or Seattle as far as I can tell. Only two shops even knew what I was talking about.
edit: Seattle, at least.

I'm willing to bet that the other records are out there and that in case they weren't found on the day YouTube was (is) the plan B. Hope that's the case anyway.
EDIT: Ok. So let's instead say that there are six copies of the same record around the world and the YouTube vids are the next stage. Another copy has just been snapped up at Rough Trade in London.

appears to be identical from the picture which suggests any additional records found will be same and are all part of phase 1, lucky bastards though...
seriously? if you worked there why would you not snap that up immediately...

Because they were probably told not to, I imagine.Keeoaddi wrote:"having stood in the racks for a couple of days"diabolous616 wrote:second vinyl found:

I didn't check their twitter profile/credibility, seems like I commented a tad too soon, my bad!diabolous616 wrote:Rough Trade seems like a pretty credible source thoughRVeldhuis wrote:Or its a fake?diabolous616 wrote:second vinyl found:

would make sense to make more... i mean. making 1 unique vinyl is quite expensive. making say, 9 more copies is relatively cheap when you have a master anyway. plus it functions as a back up. what if they just make on and the buyer doesn't share it's find?RVeldhuis wrote:Or its a fake?diabolous616 wrote:second vinyl found:
