Didn't see any other mentions if this here, but does anyone else think that after the voice says "Jesus was it you" that "indeed", which is in a deeper tone, is actually Jesus' response to "was it you?"

Amazing track. So much life in the percussion. Better with every listen (just like the rest of the album).

FWIW, for last line in the poem, i hear "When you knew that what i'd need was oneness and the comfort there." Which makes sense in context.

This may have been mentioned a few pages back, but there's a few really faint background voices among the whooshing around the 3:14 minute mark. I noticed it in my car on the way to work this morning...

I think the title "Nothing Is Real" contains a little of "a red herring" or intentional confusion, while it just says "Nothing Was True". The lyrics IMHO express disappointment (hence the reference to nihilism).

Finally joined Twoism just to agree, this is the best, most "typical of" track on the lp. Love it and listen to it over and over. I think there's also a lot to find in in this one, esp. the slowed down, compressed sounding stuff at the beginning...there's a lot going on but the simple, strong melody is so strong it's hard to focus and dig in. I love it.

To me this track symbolises the denial of reality, as in those who insist on believing that nothing they see is "real". The lines about "Jesus" could be perhaps a reference to those who dive into religion to escape the fears of the apocalypse.

That pretty much summarize the potential meaning of that specific hidden message. But one also have to analyse it through the wider spectrum of the overall concept of the album which is the downfall of mankind. He used to make sure that everybody around him felt comfortable and fulfilled and he comdemned those who are using superstitions and religious beliefs to justify selfish actions.

Great song this is. I first heard this while I was on a plane, and more clearly in the airport that was connected to a train station, and holy shit it fits the feeling. Maybe its because of the chord progression but it felt like the amazement of travel.

this song gives me such a sad but hopeful feeling.

the only way i can describe the track, is its like its creating a memory.

it just seems like i will listen to this track 20 years from now, and always be reminded of this point in my life.

such a powerful song. i can feel the heartbreak in the track. its so sad but uplifting.
