the 1992 clip is a mashup between semena, sick times (10 sec mark) and red moss (fanfare sample)
but that's why we're here!aperture wrote:This could be simplified by not posting unconfirmed rumors to the bocpages.
There's also some piano from a Tortoise remix in there.Piotr wrote:the 1992 clip is a mashup between semena, sick times (10 sec mark) and red moss (fanfare sample)
Which remix?aperture wrote:There's also some piano from a Tortoise remix in there.Piotr wrote:the 1992 clip is a mashup between semena, sick times (10 sec mark) and red moss (fanfare sample)
I'm certain that a good chunk of Closes Vol.1 is on R35TT.NEUROMUTE wrote:I feel like Closes and Hooper Bay are probably floating around the internet in plain sight, after this.
Luckily I'm only human. I had my doubts wether to post it. That's why it took a while before you saw it on bocpages. Now I wish I hadn't posted it in the first place. But in the end that's just part of running a fan site and trying to keep on top of things, even rumors which turn out to be fake. It's not the end of the world.aperture wrote:This could be simplified by not posting unconfirmed rumors to the bocpages. Unless that was the only way to get mdg's attention?
Agreed.Fredd-E wrote:It's not the end of the world.
I'm sure you're right. I'd just love to know which songs are which!Opothecary wrote:I'm certain that a good chunk of Closes Vol.1 is on R35TT.NEUROMUTE wrote:I feel like Closes and Hooper Bay are probably floating around the internet in plain sight, after this.
Just like Acid Memories and Play By Numbers, it would be easy to tell if Hooper Bay was around because you'd hear Circle in its entirety on the release. It's very hard to make fake releases when there's legit samples of music provided by the band floating around.
I'm pretty sure the compiler of R35TT went out of their way to avoid including those samples in what was selected for the collection.
lol what? there wasn't any hex in the picture, how is that supposed to workGevel wrote:Seems like the Youtube channel is a confirmed fake now, since the Houston tape was confirmed fake.
That music that was found through the hex in that Hell Interface pic on the other hand...
That one is one of the members on here if you look at the profile pic.

zeoevil wrote:Bizarre little sample. It songs like it needs to be slowed down. It has the resident choppy sample sound, but what is it? And what is Silicon Filter Grail? An album?Opothecary wrote:Heh, and it was posted by our friend bailenantrodach in 2009. The rabbit hole goes deeper.zeoevil wrote:Guys? The hex view of the Hell Interface logo contains the phrase Hell Interface Silicon Filter Grail which turns up a weird song on Last FM. It sounds backwards, but reversed in Audacity it just sounds...reversed.
I found the words, "Hell Interface Silicon Filter Grail" in the hex view of the Hell Interface icon which led to a clip of a song called "Woah" being discovered.chronical wrote:lol what? there wasn't any hex in the picture, how is that supposed to workGevel wrote:Seems like the Youtube channel is a confirmed fake now, since the Houston tape was confirmed fake.

Which image did you find this in? I looked at the soundcloud and lastfm logos but that message isn't in either.zeoevil wrote:Guys? exactly, if this "logo" is actually the photo (manipulation) of the face, that's not a logo lads. Nitpicky bout these things haBasefree wrote:It is in the Last.fm picture too. Btw, why do you all call it 'logo'? It looks like a face to me.
