If you like rad, sinister, kick-ass distorted guitar riffs, Darkthrone's "Arctic Thunder" is likely for you. Came out in October, but I only got around to listening to it about a week ago.

this is a record which I didn't even know existed until this year, but it was released in late 2016.

It's funk in a strange free form, exploratory mode, but also the musicianship is tight and the grooves are killer.
