um what? tell ya what. ill stick it in my soulseek folder (hills west)..or maybe aim....send a message over to me if you have aim..Fredd-E wrote:the best is you give me the complete wave with a cue sheet, then i can split it myself if needed with the .cue filehills west wrote:hmm that could work..allright fredd-e do you want the original wav or my breakdown of it into 20 wav's?
a .cue file is just a text file; see an example here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cue_sheet_%28computing%29
So if you give me the full wave/flac with a cue sheet like that it would be perfect.Code: Select all
TITLE "Live in Berlin, 1998" PERFORMER "Faithless" FILE "faithless - live in berlin.flac" FLAC TRACK 01 AUDIO TITLE "Reverence" PERFORMER "Faithless" INDEX 01 00:00:00 TRACK 02 AUDIO TITLE "She's My Baby" PERFORMER "Faithless" INDEX 01 06:42:00 TRACK 03 AUDIO TITLE "Take The Long Way Home" PERFORMER "Faithless" INDEX 01 10:54:00 TRACK 04 AUDIO TITLE "Insomnia" PERFORMER "Faithless" INDEX 01 17:04:00 TRACK 05 AUDIO TITLE "Bring The Family Back" PERFORMER "Faithless" INDEX 01 25:44:00 TRACK 06 AUDIO TITLE "Salva Mea" PERFORMER "Faithless" INDEX 01 30:50:00 TRACK 07 AUDIO TITLE "Dirty Old Man" PERFORMER "Faithless" INDEX 01 38:24:00 TRACK 08 AUDIO TITLE "God Is A DJ" PERFORMER "Faithless" INDEX 01 42:35:00
You can encode flac from wave easily! First download the flac codec for your OS here: http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html + optionally the gui i use for all my encoding needs: http://members.home.nl/w.speek/multi.htm
It's easy!
If you somehow got ahold of a higher-quality recording of the album without the tape distortion and whatnot present on the only version that seemed to be available a few years ago when I made this, that observation would make sense, and I would be interested in hearing what you have.Numerator wrote:sorry, I apreciate the effort thats gone into this but...
perhaps this is just me but the quality in this remaster seems worse than it was on my original boc maxima download (especially noticeable in Chinook, Sixtyniner and Original Nlogax)
Also, Sixtyniner on this was taken directly from the Twoism CD release. You're not going to get it in any higher quality than that; I didn't do anything to ruin it or whatever. (Both versions of the song are identical as far as I know, though some of the tracks in the Maxima recording I had were pitched up or down ever so slightly differently, which I matched the other sources' versions to in this.)esselfortium wrote:If you somehow got ahold of a higher-quality recording of the album without the tape distortion and whatnot present on the only version that seemed to be available a few years ago when I made this, that observation would make sense, and I would be interested in hearing what you have.Numerator wrote:sorry, I apreciate the effort thats gone into this but...
