Warpmart is a waste of time chaps. They are staggeringly inept at every turn. Use Boomkat I say. Class act.

warpmart have always delivered my requests more or less when ive wanted them. but if anyone has had a bad experience out of them, its a good excuse to get some free-bees, good luck!!!

i've never had bad experiences with warpmart. a faulty copy of IABPOITC (lots of static - less with my new one) was returned right away including a white label single from jimmy edgar. the only thing i've encountered are ripped vinyl covers: the sides were kinda ripped because of the vinyl scratching it repeatedly. but i've also seen this with records i've ordered from boomkat. now to get back on topic: i haven't ordered TCH yet cause i'm broke. :)

I'm always slightly embarrassed to order from Boomkat. I always feel that the stuff I get from there is nowhere near leftfield and experimental enough for them. I'm the IDM equivalent of the guy in 'Hi-Fidelity' who asks for 'I Just Called To Say I Love You' for his daughter - no Venetian Snares for you, grandad!

Which is fine 'cos I wanted the Helios album instead. ;)

i know what you mean, i often feel 'left out' when i hear some people talking about music in the whole IDM-scene (like aesthetics - no harsh feelings at all robin - you just seem to know a hell more artists than i do) and i'm all 'never heard of it...never heard of that either...'. maybe it's just that that makes some people slag off the community as being 'elite', the fact that some of us are really in the know of éverything happening and all the newest acts. i for myself was happy that i discovered bola (thanks to this board), although that is 'old'. but anyways, that's not the point of this topic, right .

i was wondering: are many of the white vinyl TCH-copies of poor quality? because to me it seems (as stated in a previous post) that the blue sky disc of IABPOITC wasn't of the highest quality either..

so i gave the ep another listen and i must say the dayvan cowboy remix sucks ass! its like he was dicking around with the track and at the last minute put something stupid together for BoC! Almost like a Richard D James thing, you know what I mean? RDJ is notorious for dicking around on remixes for people and at the last minute just handing something over, like uh yeah, here it is... and then he fucks with it so you cant even tell what song he remixed, half the time its not even the song they wanted remixed, haha. Anyways, this could also be one of those "can you do me a favor tracks". I hate most of this track. Left Side Drive is amazing!

I rate this EP 6/10

I got mine in the post today, and I'm very happy :D LSD is amazing! best song on the EP I reckon. Heard From Telegraph Lines is great too. I actually quite like the Odd Nosdam Remix, especially the phase which starts near the middle. This is definitely in my top favourite releases. Excellent! 10/10

Finally turned up! Hooray! big 9 out of 10 from me. I love the Odd Nosdam remix (bit of a fan of his work anyway) - the middle section is pretty amazing and the whole track fits in very nicely with the vibe of the rest of the CD.
Left Side Drive and Heard From Telegraph Lines are definitely up there with some of the best BoC tunes.

Anyway, that's yesterdays news! Now focusing back to the Boards of Canada/Da Vinci Code/Red Moon shenanigans....

***scratches chin*** Hmmm... what does it all mean?
