yeah, totally agree.

i just really don't like it when people seem to like enjoy being pessimistic or something, without reason. also makes me think of the term 'edge lord' lmao. not saying you're guilty of that what so ever, but if someone was actually saying it's going to be that long, it's just kind of stupid and annoying.

my guess is between this year and 2023, but more so within this year and next. just a guess.

There is free speech and there is being a bellend. Colin, the amount of posts after the fact shows that you're being affected by this way more than anyone else here so the easiest thing would be to just not use a word that most nice people don't seem to like using anymore.
I get you though, forums like these can have very tender people using them but at the same time, it's maybe a good thing every now and again to just look at your own behaviour and grow a little.

Hey Colin--I think you're a good guy, but I don't think this forum should be expected to have the kind of language you would hear at a stand-up comedy show.
